Led by Tom Stroup, this 50 minute workout provides the ultimate in aerobics/toning intervals to maximize your workout time and ensure a complete, well-rounded workout. The cardio segments are full of challenging, athletic-style moves (also military-type drills). The toning segments offer a variety of effective sculpting moves including push-ups, lunges, bicep curls and tricep extensions. Note from Jen: I wasn't sure if I'd be into the "SWAT-style" setting of this workout, but it was cool -- something different than the usual studio background of most DVDs. The moves reminded me a lot of Barry's Bootcamp 5-Day Academy: Full Body, where you don't use much dumbbell weight, but incorporate your body resistance for a highly effective workout. Short and compact, this time-saving routine is truly effective. If you're into longer workouts, pair this with the S.W.A.T. workout: Ultimate Body Defition. (If you do this, beware--your arms and chest will be burning from the multiple sets of push-ups!)
