BURN BURN BURN BURN BURN BURN . . . that's all I've got to say. Well, okay. You know me. I do enjoy
to babble, so I'll say just a tiny bit more.
First off, I love heavy weights. The heavier the better, as far as I'm concerned. I've never been much
for light weights/high reps -- until the first time I did Jari's original workout, simply titled RIPPED!
Then I was like, OMG, this really works! An endurance rotation (I go for three week rotations) was
exactly what my muscles needed to break through a plateau, so when I went back to my beloved
heavy weights, I was better than ever.
All of Jari's workouts are THE BEST muscular endurance workouts I've ever done. Honestly. Of all of
them, SLIM & LEAN is my favorite. (Followed very extremely closely by GET RIPPED! 1000 -- the cardio
in that one is in short spurts, and so intense I couldn't possibly do any more -- gotta love that!) So
anway, here's Jari's take on SLIM & LEAN:
Get Ripped! Slim & Lean, takes what you’ve built in the first video and kicks it up 10 notches! Like
Ripped #1, the focus is on high reps and light weights to create definition, build lean muscle, and
burn calories. We’ve added some new exercises and pumped up the intensity! The whole body
becomes lean, shaped, and toned. As in all the Ripped! videos, we demonstrate modifications so that
everyone can do this workout.
