What can I say? GET READY, STEP, GO! is just plain fun. I loved this workout from the first time I did it. Now let me first start by saying, I totally have the "two left feet" syndrome. Yep, I admit it! I find complex choreography to be difficult to learn. Not so with this workout. The choreography isn't boringly basic, it's totally fun and unique and interesting, but it's also very easy to learn. I had an absolute blast, and didn't miss a step even on my first try (okay, let's be honest here. I didn't miss very many steps on my first try, LOL!). One of the things I loved most about this workout is that my heart rate was pumping. I'm an advanced exerciser, so I find that it really takes some exertion to get my heart rate where I need it to be when doing any sort of cardio routine. This step workout did it for me, and when I was finished I felt like I'd had fun & had a highly effective workout--the best of both worlds! Here's more details: Each add-on routine builds to completion in 5-6 minutes, after which the moves are not repeated (no room for boredom in this workout, that's for sure!). The drills are short and effective, raising your heart rate without over-stressing joints. The step segments are performed both sideways and toward the T.V. Fancy-dancey & frustratingly difficult moves aren't a part of this athletic and intensity-based workout. WORKOUT BREAKDOWN: 4 minute warm-up, 42 minutes of stepping, 7 minute cool-down, core work, and stretch
