Again, honesty is the best policy. The first time I did this workout, I thought I'd add another strength training workout to the end. Within the 34 minute aerobic/toning segment, followed by the 10 minute straight-out toning, the upper body is covered for 17 minutes, the lower for 5 minutes, and the upper and lower combined for 5 minutes (abs are another 5 minutes). When I strength train, I like to devote an hour of weight work for a full-body routine, so I thought this workout wouldn't provide me with enough challenge. Well, I WAS SO TOTALLY WRONG! By the time I was done, my arms were jacked and my legs were shaking. This workout is THE BEST on your time-crunched days, and is every bit as effective as a longer workout. Even the cardio, which totaled about 10 or 12 minutes, was so intense that I didn't feel as if I had to add more. OMG, I love this workout. Another winner from Kelly--I can't wait for her new ones to be released. Hurry up Greg, get to your editing (*smile*)!

Okay, so here's more info for you: THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME is a challenging and time-efficient way to get -- and stay -- fit. This interval workout delivers fast and definite results because each muscle group is targeted in a super-set arrangement before going on to cardio and returning for a second and final set of that specific body part. Two sets of lighter weights are needed due to the workout's constant super-setting and cardio blasts (e.g. 5 and 7lbs). A step is used, but is not essential. The DVD offers added options: e.g. for those who are just starting out choose "Menu Options" and start with "One Set of Weights Only" before adding more.
