When Bernadette sent me this workout for review, I really wasn't sure if it'd be appropriate for
Advanced Workouts. I thought it would be too easy, with not enough challenge to sustain a place in
our catalog.
After reviewing the workout several times, I decided it definitely needed to be added. Is this workout
extremely advanced or similar to our other workouts such as Amy Bento's Slo-Mo Strength Challenge
or Cathe Friedrich's Muscle Max? No -- but then again, it's not supposed to be. This DVD will
challenge your body in different ways than our usual intense, hard-core strengthening DVDs. I found
myself turning to the two workouts on this DVD on my light workout days (and we all need these, or
else our body won't gain the necessary recovery time) and also for my evening workout routines,
when I need light toning, lengthening, and stretching after my day of sitting in a computer-daze. The
more I do these workouts, the more I benefit from them, and the more I love them. The ballet moves
really work the lower body in ways that heavy weight work can't. When I do this workout, in
conjunction with my regular fitness routine, I feel I'm totally getting a well-balanced, complete
workout schedule.
Bernadette is one of the sweetest people I've had the privilege of speaking to, and her inspiring and
heartfelt attitude definitely shows in the encouraging yet firm way she instructs her workouts. Her
grace and beauty is an on-screen inspiration.

ATTITUDE BALLET & PILATES FUSION is a series of two fun yet challenging classes, designed so anyone can
participate with no high impact moves. The classes focus on improving muscle tone, strength, posture, balance
and flexibility. The gentle ballet moves with light weights (Bernadette uses a weighted ball), coupled with the
Pilates-based mat work was designed to create a refreshing, effective workout that will create strong and sleek
